Hideload is an Offline version tracking software designed for desktop operating systems, making it easy to monitor changes in your files. Effortlessly track file revisions, export old versions, restore previous ones, and finalize file—all from a user-friendly interface.
Get document organizer in corporate edition which allows grouping of documents based on user defined categories. Attach auto-deletion and auto-archive policy to desired document groups to get rid of temporary files.
Community Edition
The Community Edition is free to use and offers all the essential features for personal use.
Corporate Edition
For professional environments dealing with vital documents, we recommend the Corporate Edition. It includes compression for tracked version files to reduce storage usage, document organizer for grouping, handling, and organizing overwhelming number of documents composed everyday with auto-deletion and auto-archive policies to delete temporary files, and dedicated technical support.

Usage
Installation
We currently support only 64-bit systems. Download the installer and follow regular installation steps for your operating system.
Usage
Select the file you want to track version.
- Add your first tracking with a comment. This will rename the file and add a tracking ID to it. Adding more tracking will not rename the file and the existing tracking ID will remain until the file is finalized.
- Take a look at the versions you have created on the way in All Versions section. This will have all versions, comments, and actions sorted by modified date. Currently available actions are Reset, Export, Delete.
- Finalize tracking if you are done working with a file. This will delete all existing versions, remove tracking ID & rename the file with final suffix.
- Unlink tracking to remove all versions of the existing file. This will remove tracking ID from the file name.
- Reset will switch the document to older version and delete all newer versions, Export will move selected version to the parent directory of the file and delete will remove the version from system.
Precautions
- Make sure to close all open instances of the file before tracking.
- Make sure you have proper access to modify the file.
- Do not delete the version_data folder from your User Home directory. This will delete all tracking information.
- Incase of any issues, try to debug if the issue is due to Hideload or external application. (1) Try restarting the computer. (2) Rollback all access level changes and try again. (3) Take a backup of version_data folder from Home Directory and try reinstalling the application if you suspect that the issue is with Hideload installation. (4) Mail us at support@hideload.org regarding the issue and we will be happy to help.
